John M. Smieszek, the President of Aspect Fine Homes, began his journey into building at a young age, culminating in over 20 years of experience in custom home building, pool construction, and home management. After earning a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University, John relocated from Chicago to Arizona in 1998. He enjoyed a successful 12-year tenure, ascending from Project Manager to Vice President at Mladick Development, Inc., a prominent design, construction, and development company. Throughout his career, John’s expertise has led to the creation of numerous award-winning Arizona homes, receiving recognition in various prestigious publications like Decor & Style, Sources & Design, Phoenix Home and Garden, and more. Besides being a licensed residential swimming pool contractor, John is also the founder of Liquid Evolution Pools, a boutique swimming pool builder, which has garnered multiple industry accolades. Additionally, John played a key role in the inception of the Waveyard surf pool concept, managing research and development on artificial surfing and wave generation. Beyond his professional accomplishments, John is a dedicated father of three and an avid enthusiast of ancient history, technology, sacred geometry, architecture, design, and golf. His innovative spirit and trendsetting entrepreneurship have earned him acclaim, with Arizona Foothills featuring him as one of the Valley’s influential entrepreneurs.
